I have had several Veiled females that weren't bred. Supposedly as long as they haven't seen others since they were tiny, they're ok. I have had one that was unbred for as long as 3 years. The infertile eggs are very hard to lay as they are more dense and firm causing egg binding. The females that are bred regularly only live about 3 years anyway and then die after laying at some point.
