Absolutely agree with Bob and Kim, and just wanted to add another note on color. The best looking dragons are SO hard to come by!! spam_While genetics are the most important factor; even when breeding top notch animals, only a few grow out to be really spectaular - and with hatchlings it's next to impossible to tell which ones. Here in the pic are 2 of our breeder females, among our best of 2000, and both looked IDENTICAL as youngsters.
spam_ spam_ But, at the same time - while the demand for beardies seems to be growing, you can get great deals on hatchlings - especially during the summertime. They're not as expensive as you might think! You can get a beardie for $35 or $1000+++
