Nice!! Depending on your location, this is either a common five-lined skink (Plestiodon fasciatus or the southeastern five-lined skink (Plestiodon inexpectatus). The only reliable way to separate the two species where their ranges overlap is by the scales beneath the tail. If there is a single row of wide scales, it's the common five-lined skink. If the scales are all uniformly small, it's the southeastern five-lined skink.
