Senegals are about the cheapest chams available. They're also probably the most widely WC specimen offered in the pet trade.
Jack, you might want to reduce the handling. Chams are not very sociable. They generally do not like to be handled. The bright green coloration when you handle or approach is more likely a defensive reaction rather than a "happy" color. Stress will definitely reduce life span.
