Our small Rusty Red Roaches are similar in size to a small cricket. They are a great feeder for a variety of pets. Rusty Reds AKA Red Runner, Turkistan, or Blatta lateralis Roaches are primarily an outdoor insect, unlike some cockroach species such as the German cockroach. If you are looking for a non-invasive species of roach we recommend the Dubia roach. However, Rusty Reds can be a great feeder for more finicky eaters and arachnids. Rusty Reds are a much smaller roach (similar in size to crickets) and much faster than Dubia which makes them much more enticing for pets.
