I can tell you that it's normal for cribos to be triangular if looking at a cross section with a slightly raised area along the spine. If they are completely round they're normally overweight. Nothing else to add without seeing pictures, but once again this isn't the right place for that. Hopefully you'll find the answer you're looking for in the proper section.
