To be completely honest, I live in an apartment, and the landlord knows about the cats and dogs, but has no clue about the reptiles. We moved in before we had most of them - and none are big and/or dangerous, so we just don't feel the need to call them up and tell them. We won't be there much longer anyway. But in your case, that's not something you can do. I think your best bet is to try to find a room with some who keeps reptiles themselves already. Good luck with your search!
