These are captive bred Spotted Salamanders (
Ambystoma maculatum). They are feeding on Dubia roaches and crickets (occasionally earth worms) They are fat and healthy! Captive bred spotted salamanders are VERY uncommon. I am one of very few people who have successfully bred maculatum. I hatched them out in 2010 and they are now just hold backs. They are big and gentle salamanders.
