Ps. Please resend me all of your contact information, including a physical address to where the shipment is to go, contact phone number, your full name, etc. I want to also prepare things with USFWS. This whole process hinges on the approval and process of:
1. First the CITES II permits are issued by the CITES Mgmt authority and permits must be purchased and approved by them which can take up to 3 months on average to complete.
2. The permits must be sent to the USFWS for approval with them. If they find a problem (example: what happened with the P. klemmeri for the other Canadian guys who bailed), it will take longer with them and might need to be re-submitted to the CITES II issuing authorities.
3. The permits “should” be faxed, emailed or otherwise sent to you to enable you to get a basic pre-approval with authorities on your end, so that you know that the papers accompanying the shipment are adequate and will not cause you or the animals any problems.
4. I then must strictly adhere to IATA shipping regulations which are much more strict for CITES animals, than for non-CITES animals.
5. I book the shipment with the airlines and away they go!

Hello Jon!

Hope everything is going good down there, sounds like you guys are having some crazy weather!
I wanted to see if you've managed to get the CITES permits yet, if you no longer want to go through all the hassle I would be happy with a refund minus however much you have already spent on permits and labour costs of cource. Let me know what works, cheers!
