Hello,
I have a roughly 5 year old diamondback terrapin and a painted turtle. I noticed a fleshy/stringy material near the Diamondbacks vent today, but I did not see an injury site nor did it look like worms. I am calling the vet tomorrow, but wondered if anyone had any insight. I noticed the tank was slightly pinkish tinged today and was alarmed when I saw this unknown item at the bottom of the tank. They both are acting normal. Alert, eyes are clear, and a healthy appetite. Please help with any information on what could be a possible explanation.
