Sandra, I see the same thing on my blizzards and patternless sometimes, too... I think it's because of their skin color. It is not unusual to see bite marks on tails, necks, and the cheeky area behind the eyes. Some males are much more aggressive than others, so as long as the skin in not broken there should be no problem.
