So many people overfeed their snakes, boas really do better with slow growth. Generally, feeding every 2 weeks is going to be okay, I usually do 10 days for baby boas until they are a year old. Adults every 2 weeks can be a bit much even, 2-4 is usually better for boas. Opinions and results can vary, depending on the size/qty of food.

The baby boa in the ad looked pretty good. However, I think the majority of us agree that the baby the OP received appears to be in terrible shape. These two photos stood out the most to me. There should not be sagging in the lats! The tail looks deplorable! It's sinking in around the bones. That baby needed either a larger item or to be fed more often. He should recover in the OP's care, thank you for letting us know about this.
