your best bet is always...no matter what the cost.......to take it to a vet, i always take my animals to the vet even if its just for a second opinion on what i think might be wrong. And stomatitis is something you do not want to mess around with, depending on the severity it could take weeks or even months if not properly treated with antibiotics that vet could send you home with. Besides, what $80 compared to when saving an animals life?
