Okay I'll look around for a magnifying glass. I'm sure I've got one somewhere. Legit question? How could a captive snake get a tick? Like is that something I should actually worry about? I have other snakes and lizards and I've never seen them with ticks, obviously we just got this little one and it hasn't been with us but a minute, but I didn't even think of that as a thing I would need to worry about.
