Itt amazes me what dogs can be trained to locate.
In Fiji they have been used to search for the burrows of endangered seabirds and the nests of invasive iguanas.
And if coming into New Zealdnb from Tahiti, wher ethey used to put a flower behind your ear as you boarded the plane, they has beagles trained to specifically sniff out frangipani blossoms.
The one that really amazes me is the airport cash-sniffer dogs, who can detect if someone is carrying over a certain amount of paper currency....
