I know what you mean, funny but not funny. I watched a lil ol mocking bird chase a 6' rat snake about 15 yards across the side of my lawn one day. I thought, why doesn't the snake just stop, defend itself and try and have some lunch
I found out why the blue jays act up so badly many years ago when I was a kid. I come across a black rat snake eating a baby blue jay that it had taken out of the nest. Was the first time as a lil boy that I had seen and watched live a snake eat its prey.
