Hi, my name is Dee ^_^. I moved here to Surrey, BC from Edmonton, AB two years ago and I've just recently started into the whole loving snakes enough to want one thing. Currently I have two gorgeous cats, Nyxi and Winnie. Unfortunatly I have a 10g tank that is all empty ever since my house gecko died. It was a aquarium so the lid I have for it is a tiny bit bigger since I had to buy it seperatly. I'm currently in the market for a corn snake baby so I'm afraid that it'll be able to move the lid. Does anyone have any suggestions for me to fix the lid to stay on better? It doesn't have any latches or anythign right now, but I was thinking of wrapping bungee cords around both ends, until I can get a better tank.

Welcome to Fauna!
If you have a screen top for your tank, they make "latches" that connect to the screen frame & then snaps to the frame of the aquarium. Not sure how much bigger the lid is, but the latches are just a few bucks at reptile stores.

It's about 2 or 3 centimeters bigger on the length, and maybe 1 on the width.

Welcome to Fauna, The clips Tori mentioned should work on the sides that are over by 1 cm. At least for a baby corn, untill it grows or you get a better fitting top.
