Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

0.1 North American Wood Turtle
Selling my female NA Wood turtle. She is absolutely perfect, great appetite, healthy and ready for a male. This gorgeous female was collected from Michigan at a young age and is now a 15 plus year LTC. Her shell doesn't have a scratch or chip on it. Unbelievable condition and pattern.. Her new owner will be extremely pleased.
$1,100.00 shipped or delivery to Daytona Reptile Expo this weekend.
*trades considered: high end turtles/tortoise species*
Thank you for looking.

As far as I know, Michigan has protected Clemmys/Glyptemys insculpta since at least 1989. Is there a collection permit for this animal?

Thank you for the elaboration, Jason. I had wrongly assumed that it was collected 15 years ago, but I see now why I shouldn't have assumed that. It sure is a beautiful animal, and I wish you the best of luck with the sale.

Recon Charlie, Acquiring the group will only be half the battle. It took me years to assemble my group and tens of thousands of dollars to reproduce their natural stream habitat here with a 9000 gallon pond/stream. I do this as a passion with these turtles, and am committed to providing for them. I have a group already, the setup already, and the knowledge and experience already to provide for these turtles in the Deep South. It takes a lot more than just some fenced in land to properly care for these guys. I would get their habitat complete long before I try to get any turtles, and especially now as they will need to acclimate before the weather starts changing. I would be more than willing to assist you in setting up a area for them but I know that the best option for this turtle at this point, is for it to join my group in paradise. Personally if I were you, I'd start with some younger turtles until you have the space setup for the larger adults.
