Proven female striped snow cornsnake ‘03
Striped snow female, produced by Dwight Good in ’03. Proven in ’05 with 9 good eggs, double clutched (without being bred again) with 3 slugs. Proven in ’06 with 8 good eggs. Both years, she has bred without being bruminated. (I fed her steadily through the winters, due to her size, but she seems perfectly happy to breed anyway. She never went off-feed.) She’s a fairly small adult female at about 26” in length.
She is homozygous for Amelanism, Anerytheism, and Stripe.
This cornsnake is a gorgeous example of her kind, with faint greenish stripes on a pearlescent cream-to-pink background, and a great yellow throat and nose. She’s an alert, friendly snake, but rather nervous at times. She will happily take multiple small frozen-thawed prey items – rats or mice – from your hand, but prefers to be left alone to think about larger f/t prey. (She’ll eat rat pups, but generally isn’t willing to take anything as large as an adult mouse.)
