RSS 'Just for Laughs' feeds

Am I the only one that finds the racist jokes being fed over from armslocker.com objectionable? I've reported two posts, made my comments on said posts expressing my disgust with them, but the posts remain, and with one exception (thanks LauraB for validating my perception ), no one else has commented. I can accept the fact that not every joke can be funny to everyone, but c'mon, these are racist, against the TOS, and highly offensive.

First, let me address a couple of points. It's 7:51 in the morning where I am when you made this post and you reported this joke at 4:30 in the morning my time. I don't know about the other moderators but I was asleep at 4:30 and just checked my email a couple of minutes ago after taking the kids to school.

I'm not stating that I find your reporting without merit but because you reported something doesn't mean it will automatically be removed because you found it offensive. However, In this case I removed the reported post because I happen to agree that it is racist with the "turning white" and "I have to get a job now" phrases.

Several of these jokes have already been removed. My understanding is that it is a news feed a "bot" that reposts them on the sites. It is not just coming from armslocker but being posted there as well. Including other sites.

Several moderators have discussed this feed and several of the jokes and were going to discuss it with Rich but he was out of town at the time and I think it was forgotten about until your reported post this morning.

Be assured that it is being looked at and I'm sure Rich will address it as soon as he can. If you find others of similar nature, report them.

The "RSS_jokes" registration is simply a registered member as far as this system is concerned. If you don't want to read what it posts as RSS feeds, simply put that "member" on ignore.
