This species makes a perfect addition to any collection and have it all. True CBB are extremely rare, hardy, with a mellow temperament, and bizarrely unique appearance. From hatchling to adult they will sit on your hand calmly and tong feed. They can be kept together as juveniles and adults and are non-aggressive toward each other.
Care is straight forward. I feed them every other day and they will eat any appropriately sized insect. They are strictly arboreal, never coming down to the ground. A vertically oriented terrarium with a live bushy plant and branches are used for climbing and perching. They do well in both glass and screen terrariums. A water bowl is not needed, they get all their water from daily mistings of the enclosure.
