Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. It's basically impossible to tell for sure until they are adults Male darts are generally larger in length, but thinner, and have larger toe pads than females, in addition to them calling. In some species, you can't hear the calling, but you can see the vocal sac.
Females are a bit smaller in length, but their bodies are much more rounded than the males.
