In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Good Guy Our snakes love Rodent Pro!!!

Well I can assure you Im no competitive rodent breeder..... I can't stand the smell of rodents... so I've NEVER bred them....

All I know if, when I talked to the manager... I dont recall his name.. it was at least 1.5 years ago..... He stated that he used several other breeders fir his rodents....

I started ordering from The Mouse Factory , and I was completely impressed with the quality of their product..... It was clean... none of it was freezer burnt.... it didnt stink.... their wasnt dried poo and bedding stuck to the rats....

It is a quality product.... Since then I have sourced great rodents locally... I just dont want to risk feeding Rodent Pro to my boas.... and will never order from them again..... unless they created some sort of quality control method...

keep in mind, they breed thousands and thousands of animals. chickens, rats, mice, gerbils, rabbits, etc. they need a large facility for that, plus CO2 chambers, plus storage space.
to brett, you should have your "sources" come on here and tell of their true, actual experiences, rather than you relaying them as hear-say.

freezer burnt.... stink.... dried poo and bedding stuck to the rats....

That's pretty much been my experience with them every time I ordered from them. The last big order I got I was so disgusted with I just gave them away. For nearly the same money from another company I get animals that are the size they should be, very clean and perfectly packaged, and look almost as fresh as daisies. lol I'm just not going to feed my snakes sub par quality rodents. If it doesn't look like something I'd grown and packaged myself, it ain't a feeder here.

I grow my own asf and mice, but my rats I get frozen elsewhere. From a real nice feeder company in Florida.

Oh and please feel free to delete my posts if you wish. Like you said, my words hold no true backing on this board without proof. I really don't have anything to gain by posting on this thread. - Brett

Brett, I didn't state that you were in competition with RP. I stated the first time I heard those particular accusations that they came from a rival company. I want you to understand though where we are coming from with the rule. Besides being a rule, it really is unfair to put any individual or company in such a position to try and defend themselves.

For instance, If someone were to come on the board and state Brett Sibiski has IBD or crypto in his collection from what I heard from someone, but I can't tell you who. That accusation alone could destroy years of hard work building up a name and business for yourself. You wouldn't know who started such a rumor and it would be difficult for you to address the individual responsible for it. But, If someone came on and posted I know for a fact that Brett has IBD he sent a infected snake to my friend and I witnessed the collection die off. The person still didn't state who the friend was but the poster took ownership for the statements. The creditability of such an accusation would probably be debated and people would probably judge such a post harshly without the victim posting or proof being supplied but the person making the post would own those words completely. If you then wanted to hold them accountable within the community and/or legally for making a untruthful statement you could do so easily. Make sense?

It really is a unfair thing to do to anyone. If someone has experienced such a situation they should come forward and state it for themselves.

It's just not right to do it this way. Not to mention that if your source didn't back you up and RP still wanted to target you for your statements you would be left standing alone on what you have stated and the damage you caused to someone's business reputation with no proof. It's not a good position to put yourself in or this board.

I didn't expect to "stir the pot" on this post! LOL

I have gone in on friends orders to "fill the box" from Rodent Pro but this was the first time I did my own complete order of small rodents that my regular supplier doesn't have. Not to mention the prices were hard to beat from anyone.

I noticed that Brett's name is NOT the same as the account holder (Ashley Cunningham) which is not allowed on the BOI.

Dennis,
I agree with you completely and will admit I screwed up by doing that. I learned my lesson and will apply this situation for now on to everything I say. It's not fair if I can't provide a source, I agree. I asked for my source to speak out on this board, but has not responded so now I'm the fool. To clear up the Ashley/Brett thing, we are boyfriend and girlfriend so she allows me use her account to surf the classifieds. This is the first time I've posted on the BOI, so please forgive me for this first violation. Truthfully, I'll never post on here again. Dennis, I would appreciate these posts deleted because I now realize how foolish I was. This is not to say I was trying to bs everyone, I just don't understand why you would risk it. This is Brett's last post on the BOI. Have a good day. - Brett

I used to work for Kevin Bryant Reptiles in the mid-late 90s. They used to breed their own rodents and supplied a select few people with rodents. Kevin decided to close the reptile business and go full on with rodents. He has contracts with several rodent breeders and buys everything they sell. The building on Seib Rd. is a 5000 sq. ft. facility with a large open garage, and several finished rooms once used for an apartment, then turned into a reptile facility. The amount of rodents produced when I worked there would by no means supply even a fraction of the numbers they do now. The last time I went there to talk to a friend that worked for them, they had no breeding set ups on site.

As far as I am concerned, you may get good or bad rodents from them. I have no beef with rodent pro as a business, only with the owner who robbed me of about $2000 worth of snakes....but that's another story.

Brandon, That sounded like a straightforward bad dealing. I understand that you claim you were robbed. Now, I'm not discounting what you have stated about the incident happening or not. I want you to understand that. As I recall the particular incident was never hashed out in its own thread and I don't believe RP has commented on it. At least not here.

But in all fairness the first time you told this story was in 2005.

Kevin Bryant burned me on a snake deal several years ago. Bad business ethics in my opinion. When I worked for him, I traded him $1275 worth of baby albino burmese pythons for 1.2 adult chondros that he never aquired for me. When I quit working for him he said he wasn't getting them for me and there was nothing I could do about it. This is what it looked like the day I quit. lol. :argue:

Brandon Osborne

The next time you told about this transaction was in 2006

How is this for a petty issue. I sold 2 clutches of albino and het Burmese pythons to Kevin in trade for a trio of adult Green Tree Pythons and never recieved anything for my animals. The trade value at the time was $1425 for the 3 adult chondros and Kevin told me he was not going to give me anything. He called me up about 6 months after he was supposed to get the chondros for me and said he would go ahead and get them. He felt it was not right of him to rip me off and he would let me know when he got them. I have never heard from him since other than seeing him in public. I would not do business with him again.......and we were supposed to be friends. There are plenty of great rodent breeders out there. Pick your poison.

So call me confused.

Next year will it be $2500?

He was to do trade value in 1.2 chondros for around $450 each plus shipping. You are correct. The value of the burms at the time was $1275. Back then I wanted chondros so bad, he got some extra stuff at no cost to him. My bad for the numbers. And I assure you next year it will not be $2500. lol. I never noticed RP responded to my original post. So thanks for the headup. I apologize for the hijack. Sometimes I just get worked.

Thing about Rodent Pro is.....

People LOVE them! Hell I loved em too at one time

But people quickly realize how much better stuff is out there once they switch companies/breeders.

I know the rats I get arent much more expensive, but the quality is through the roof.

Rodent Pro has the cheap prices going for em, Ill give em that much. But the quality isnt there.

never orderd from rodent pro myself but sum of my buddies have and they have nothing bad to say they love rodent pro.
and to juggalo (OP) whoop whoop ninja xD

I've used them and their prices are more decent than some of the other guys. In quality you get what you pay for. As hot as it is, it's one of the few places I can order from right now for ground shipping unless I want prethawed rodents or paying out the nose for 2-day shipped rodents, that is IF it's even offered.

I've ordered from them for a while now (since 2002) and never been upset. Sometimes there's feces or bedding, but only in small amounts and not very often. The prey animals seem fine and healthy, and they're significantly cheaper than some of the other places.
Plus, they have a good selection; I don't know anyone else that sells as many types of frozen feeders as they do, so I can get everything from mice to rabbits there.

Thank you, Seems everyone is willing to go cheap on their food but want to pay top dollar for their reptile. Cant be one or the other.

I ordered from Rodent pro and too gave the rats away as they were covered in bedding, pee, feces, and broken off limbs.

I now pay for the better vacuum sealed in neat clean fashion.

I only order rats 2 times a year when my breeding is slow.

I just received my first order from RodentPro (actually my first feeder shipment ever). I was worried about them arriving frozen, since it is quite hot here in SC and they were shipped UPS ground (2 days from IN)... The box was on my front porch when I got home from work yesterday because apparently my girlfriend couldn't lift the 40lb box... According to UPS Tracking information, the package sat on the front porch for two and a half hours....

Anyways, I opened the box immediately and was quite pleased with how well it was packed. All items (rats and chicks) arrived completely frozen and, on initial inspection, appeared clean and without bedding or feces. There was even plenty of dry ice left over to play with. :reddevil:

I wouldn't hesitate in buying from RodentPro again.

They just did me a huge favor!

I just wanted to let everyone know about my great experience with RodentPro. I had forgotten to place my order earlier last week and ran out of rats yesterday. I went ahead and placed my order yesterday knowing that they are up front about shipping times, which should have been a week from today. I put a note in asking if they could squeeze me in this week, but didn't really expect it to happen. It was a small order, only 120 mice/rats, and only the second order I had placed with them.

I had gotten my 2 standard, auto-generated emails telling me that they had my order and that it was scheduled to ship out next week. Again, I was fine with that, it was my fault for forgetting to order on time.

Well, about 11am, I received an email with a $10 coupon and sale prices that included one of the sizes I ordered. It was only $15 total, but since I wasn't going to get them shipped for another week, I was hoping they would honor the coupon and discount. I sent an email to their general email address asking that if the order couldn't go out this week, could they apply the coupon and sale.

Here is the response I got:

Jeremy,
Thanks for the email. We can ship this order out for you this week and you should receive it on Wednesday. We will be glad to issue a refund back to your card for the coupon and sale, but we don’t store credit card information in our system. Please give us a call with that and we will be glad to issue a refund back to your card.
Thanks,

Kurtis Payton

So not only did Kurtis push my small order through a week early, but he also refunded the $15. That is tremendous customer service and they will have my business from here on out.
