    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

To my knowledge no. I wish there were. These are my favorite of the Pogona species. I think these are only able to be found in Australia's pet trade
 
But there aren't really any true GG's anymore. They have been so bred out at this point. At least that has been my experience. Many people advertise their dragons as GG's without knowing that it is a hybrid between two species. People tend to associate any large dragon with a certain body structure as a German Giant and this is simply not the case.

I would love to find a way to legally import some Easterns :)
 
I've heard 2 stories as to where the GG's originated. I heard the P. Barbata crossed with the P. Vitticeps story but I also heard that a certain locality of P. Vitticeps typically grew larger (they are the naturally yellow dragons) were selectively bred to create the line.
 
I've only heard the hybridization story and that they were originally imported from Germany, hence the name. ;)

I could very easily go along with the selectively bred lines. That almost makes more sense to me given the way the terminology is tossed around. If GG was a line bred trait and not a genetic lineage that gives more credit to the original's contemporaries.

Well according to that story (line bred one) it was originated in Germany. I know of one true GG line still but its very hard to get.

Off topic though, glad my little Magellan can make you smile:D
 
there a breeder that has a black & gray male bearded dragon i just cant remember his site
and it now driving me krazy that i cant find it again
