Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

You see Steven, you *think that you know the law. You *think that this just comes down to me traveling to FL so that I can take you to court. You *think that someone obviously wouldn't go through that trouble over just $200.

The thing is, none of that is necessary. I'll admit, after initially filing the report with TSD, not alot of priority was put on the case. I can understand this. I am sure that there are bigger fish to fry around there but in light of your recent "dealings", they are most definitely interested in you and your shenanigans.

You will soon see that all this BS that you think that I am posting is a reality. I know that I will never see my $$$ for the Helix and the overnight shipping that I paid however in the end, putting a little scumbag like you in his place is worth way more then the $$$.

Remember, you are the one running your lips and have no clue of the success stories members have had when dealing with the likes of your kind. You really need to read the BOI and notice how many people here do MORE than police officers.

Brittnie - many scales have a plastic or glass "dish" to hold whatever contents it is that you want to weigh. You can still get an accurate weight on the animal IF you zero out the scale, or "tare" it, with the dish on it and before you weigh the animal.

In this case, however...I wouldn't count on ANYTHING being done properly and/or honestly. In that pic, I don't think you can see much...so who knows what exactly is being weighed. :shrug01:

because you did not have any heat packs. When you "mailed
him the money", wouldn't you have at least texted or called him
to let him know you sent him money for the Helix???? I would
think you would want him off your back and you would have sent him
some sort of communication that his money was on the way.
But YOU DID NOT and I truly believe that is because you
never sent him anything.

Exactly. All he did was send a couple of empty promise texts every couple of days (at first) implying that "when I get check, you get paid". He then sent me a text saying that the money was going to be Western Unioned to me however we had never exchanged any type of PayPal or bank account info so that would have made this kind of hard to pull off. Then, I just stopped hearing from him altogether and the phone number (that I harassed him soooooooooooooooo much on) was disconnected and no longer in service.

Regardless of this thread I think that he is going to be too bullheaded to do the right thing and he will just have to answer to the legal system.
 
You can't have too much of an idea how online businesses work (not saying these all are). The people who spend lots of time on here are usually people that sell services/animals on the internet. Those people have to spend time on here posting and talking to people to further their business. Do you not spend time at work to make money? Same concept here. So I can understand why so many people are on here all the time. Not to mention, it's probably very upsetting to honest people when there's somebody blatantly trying to scam.

There's also people that spend time on here trying to help others by responding to questions and making sure the owner is knowledgeable enough to take care of their animal(s). You know why? Because they CARE and are good hearted people.

Than there's the category that quite possibly you fall into, the ones who spend all day searching for people to scam like they're pray. You sir are preying on good people that work hard and are passionate about their animals. Can you honestly say you have never been so passionate about something you didn't spend a ton of time on it? People have to exploit the ones like you otherwise this hobby would have been ruined by scammers. It's hard being new here and people like you sir are making it hard for us 'newcomers'. People are becoming less likely to offer advice out of fear that this is a scammer and is just trying to dig up information through asking a lot of questions. I hope you make good on this just out of it's the right things to do. People like you are ruining this forum, and I'll go as far as to say this world.

On another note, I want to say thank you to you guys who continue to help newcomers! You guys are great!

Quick question? Since Steven has been found out that he's using other people pictures to scam other people, then why is he allowed to post ads here at all? Isn't that just asking for him to scam someone else?
 
Steven sent a PM requesting his account be closed. He has no account now to advertise anything..... but he could still respond to someone's ad wanting to trade,or sell etc.

Hopefully people do their research before buying or trading with anyone. Unfortunately in this world there are people with no morals that will kill their mother for a buck.
 
Personally, I feel bad for Jimmy that his name is tagged with this mess. I've known Jimmy for a few yrs & all his animals are legit, top notch & he will always try to give you a good deal. I've gotten at least 6 snakes from him & they have all been exactly what he said they were, if not better. (with the exception of the African Rock :rotflmao: ) ...she may be tame, but she still scares the crap outta me! lol

As for Steve....just give it up Dude....you're out numbered & the evidence supports everyone's claims against you. :yesnod: People know where you live as well as who your family is. Just try to make right on your current deals.

All you need to do is piss off the wrong person & before you know it, they'll be at your house! People are crazy like that.
