The Gex Files
You should try some honey based wound ointment.
They should have it at your vets or at a pharmacy.
It's called Dermiel here in Holland, but i don't know how it's called in the USA.
It does wonders for wounds! We had a leachie who had a hole eating into him by fruitfly maggots and it healed perfectly in a few months (leaving some scarring behind, but that's normal).
Good luck!!

Best regards,

Léon and Debbie

Thank you for the reply it looked like I got them all out hoping the medicine I put in would kill the rest ill go look for that stuff today I'm keeping here in a medium container by herself so I can 100%get keep it clean she's still using the leg so there shouldn't be any damage. Any idea on what I can use to kill these fruit flies where they don't come back?

The Gex Files
Just remove the food bowls every morning. The flies lay their eggs in them. We have fruit fly infestations every summer.
