    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Quick opinion Please...

Hey hows it going i have a couple crested geckos that I got for my wife and myself but one I got a little bit ago he or she is probably about 2 to 3 months old only about 2 or 3 weeks old when i got it and I wanted a few opinions on if it looks ok like not too skinny or sickly because I kinda saved it because it was a lot smaller and really skinny when I got him because I felt bad for it. But any observations or opinions would be appreciated thanx.

I'm not normally one to be concerned about thin geckos, but his back legs do look really thin to me. Also, he has quite a bit of stuck shed on his toes, which needs to be removed in order for him to climb and hunt properly. What is he eating? Let's start there.

he looks okay to me, maybe a little dehydrated. i would feed more CGD to him than bugs at this point to ensure better hydration and more nutrients. Providing UV lighting will encourage better eating habits too so that wouldnt hurt to try either if you already havent done so.

Hey hows it going, thanx for the input on little one. That pic is about 2 weeks ago I helped by spraying him with water routinely and got some tweezers and helped pull the last bit of shed left on his back toes and his tail. But he is primarily on CGD with 2 or three crickets 2x's a week dusted with miner-all and repashy super pig. Ill take a couple pics right now and show you and u can let me kno if he looks a little better.

Yeah he eats fine and munches on the crickets I give him and on his CGD that I can tell from little scoops missing in the morning, I just cant seem to notice any weight gain. Tried to feed him some wax worms but not really interested. I think this little guy was a runt to begin with but I would def like some suggestions to fatten him up a bit.

You really don't want to fatten him up unless his life depends upon it. Geckos are normally either (a) eating, or (b) not eating. As long as he's eating, he'll get what he needs from the CGD. They don't eat much, and they can go many months without gaining weight. The problem with wax worms or other treats, is that the geckos will often refuse to eat anything else once he gets used to the treat. Since they require only small amount of food, if they eat a few wax worms, why would they eat anything else? No sense hopping on that rollercoaster. Your little guy looks just fine. :thumbsup:
