Dubia Question

I am not sure if this is the correct place to ask, but anyway, can anyone tell me how much food a colony of dubia go through? Not including oranges, potatoes, apples, etc. for moisture, but just plain ol'feed?

I bought a 20# bag of chick starter, a pound of bee pollen granules, a bag of coconut, a 5# bag of tropical fish food, a 2# box of natural cane like stuff from health store to add a little more sweet, a 2#box of sugar in the raw, 2 boxes of baby food multigrain oat flakes, and a can of quaker oats. I mixed it all up and filled one and a half 5gallon buckets. I am wondering how long this will last. Like how much will a couple thousand mixed sized dubia eat? A cup a day? 5 cups?

I just wonder how long 7-8gallons of feed will last. I realize I cooked up a premium gutload batch, but never the less, I want them fat and multiplying. vs. some shady dogfood diet. Unless they tear through this in a month, then I better save it for a gut load and go a cheaper route.

Thanks,

Dave

Only real way to find out is to try it . have some dubias myself and they seem slow eaters.

I am using a mix of Blue Buffalo dog food, rat feed and rabbit feed. They eat like pigs and are fat and breeding well.
If dog food is all that bad,i'd like to know! Blue is a holistic and all natural dog food. How bad can it be??
The protein level is 24% or so depending on what mix. I do want to add bee pollen though.
I give fresh fruit and veggies 3 times a week. I also give some fish flake food and dry healthy cereal.
