    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I was saving up for a pair of dwarf retics Purple Albino with at least one of them Tiger. Washer took a crap. More to fix than worth. Dryer is even older than washer so took my reptile money and spent 1300.00 on new set. Every freaking time...... :angry:
 
If I won the lottery tomorrow, my house would burn down. I thinks that's the equal-and-opposite reaction theory. Sorry about your washer!

I think that's the way it goes for all of us. The snafu will cost exactly what you had saved up. Happens to me every time, too.

Sorry to hear about your luck. Hopefully you'll get your retics someday soon.
 
For me it's the opposite. I bought an animal I'd been saving for and life decided to give me it's all immediately afterwards, when I had less savings to dip in to in case of such emergencies. :ack2: It won't be the end of our world, but I definitely would have held off on the purchase had I known what was going to happen. (And if I had a nickel everytime I thought something along those lines, I'd never have to worry about these balancing acts again.)

My sympathies on your set-back though, that's always rough and I am sorry to hear it happened to you. Fingers crossed that your luck turns back around and you're able to get your retics soon. :eek:

P.S. Because I just can't turn it off sometimes. I think if it was me, I'd give the pair names like Kenmore and Amana once the day comes... Because it will come for you. Hang in there Joe!

HAha, Good one. I did a lot of research and I went with LG. Most had positive reviews on performance and maintenance. Guess I could look at it like this, By the time I get the cash back up Super Dwarf in Purple Tiger will be cheap! Thanks for the thoughts all!

Not me, I'd find the largest ghetto/trash family I could find and let them have it for free. Just so my neighbors would really know how much they ticked me off during the years....lol
