You Guys Miss Me?! Oh yeah...question.

I just know you guys missed me...been grounded thats why i haven't been on. >.<

Anyways I was thinking...you know how kings will eat other snakes? Would it be safe to put to kings together, or will one eat the other? Also, if you can house them together...what about housing two different breeds? o.O

I dunno...prolly sounds stupid but it just popped into my head one day.

BTW, I really missed talking to you guys...all of you!

P.S.- I also got a Whites Tree Frog over the weekend, his name is "Beans" LOL

Whether or not they could be housed safely together depends on the individual snakes. I know of people that housed kings together year round, and I know just as many people that have ended up losing at least one snake by trying. At one time, I kept a pair of adult Cal kings together in a LARGE enclosure...another time, my female black mexican king tried to eat the male when I introduced him for breeding (guess she wasn't in the mood). Personally, I would err on the side of safety and keep them separately

I kept a pair of greyband kings last winter for a friend. He had always kept them together but I immediately separated them. After all they are kingsnakes and I was responsible for their well being.

Keeping two kingsnakes together is not something I would do. It's just too risky. Especially when you can buy a rubbermaid tub for $3.77 at Wal-Mart or Target and keep them separately. JMO though.
