Across the street from my work their is a small creek (a Hanover school sits across)...He was slithering his way around in the grass about 10 feet from the creek...

He has already been identified. Thank you, though!

He also is successfully feeding on tiny minows for me without a problem!

the northern water snake and the banded water snake are two different things, Nerodia sipedon and Nerodia fasciata respectively. So calling it a northern banded water snake is a little ambiguous. Sorry to be picky, just for information sake. Looks like a northern water snake to me.
