    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Well, I saw he was manning his booth at the Hamburg PA reptile show a couple of weeks ago. So if I were you I would go to his website http://www.serpentsden.com/ and check the contact info link. If that doesn't work come back here and ask again.
 
that is all true. but it had nothing to do with me. it was all my mom and steve should know that. i sent him a letter a couple of months after the lawsuit was dismissed because i turned 18 and dropped it.
 
yes i picked up the snake and signed the relece form. my mom put the lawsuit on him. i had no say in it at all since i was only 17. when i turned 18 april 17, i dropped the case. which wasent going to go anywher at all. it was not steves fault at all. i got bit it was MY fault. not HIS AT ALL. but the bush viper was sold to me illegely. but i did have knowledge and experience with hot's and i told him that over the phone. i didnt have any venomous in my house at that time which he said that i said not true. i sent steve a letter after all this was over. telling him how sorry i was for my mom dragging him into this.
 
the question i asked steve was how toxic the snake was on a snale of 1 to 10 since their is no ld-50 for that sp. and he said 3 not very bad. i never kissed a hot in any way that's just stupid and i also never free handled it either. i just asked my mother and she said she never said that to him. she never talked to him after i got the snake. so im not sure where this information is comming from but its wrong.
 
this is why when i turned 18 april, 17 i had dropped the lawsuite on him, because it was my mom on the phone. she did lend me ger card. and steve wasent their when i picked up the snake his wife was. yes steve did make a bad decision. and my mom almost made him loose his business for it. but as soon as i turned 18 i dropped it because steve was nice. he wasent correct on how toxic the snake was. but thats about it. i never kissed the snake now that would be stupid.

Life doesn't work that way Vinny.

To say that you were not a party to this incident, including the fallout is ludicrous.

Your mother allowed you to purchase a dangerous animal for which you were not qualified to own nor even handle.

You purchased this animal despite the existence of an ordinance preventing possession of such animals where you live.

The consequences of your actions could have cost a man his livelihood because (and this is no surprise) you and your mother preferred to blame someone else rather than accept responsibility for your ill-advised actions.
 
well venomous snakes are legal where i live. i know i could have costed steve everything. thats why as soon as i turned 18 i dropped it. and write him a letter saying how sorry i was for all of that. it was not his fault at all. it was mine 100% times 10. steve is a very nice guy and i never wanted any of this to happen.

well.. actually, i think he made it pretty clear that it wasnt HIM and his mother that blamed steve,,just his mother alone,,and even though i personally think his mom may have been wrong in doing that because she knew or shouldve known the dangers in having a venemous snake in the house and..i think that we should at least give vinny some credit that he dropped the case, showing that he was genuinly sorry that his mother did that to steve.

all in all, lets all leave the past in the past..end of case. :)

I didn't say he instigated the litigation.

How can you argue that the results of his actions did not lead to his mother instigating litigation though?
 
I think that out of respect for steve this thread should be let die away rather then rehash it for vinnys sake. Steve heard enough grief over this as it was now to bring it up again a year later really doesnt help him or his business.
 
i agree 100% with nicoli. steve is a good man who runs a great business with healthy animals. so let the past stay in the past. it has been over 2 years since this has happened. it's water under the bridge now and nothing else. so why dont we just talk about reptiles. that's how everyone wants it. me included thanks.

my mom is disabled so she can not work. and hasent tried to sue anyone that i know of lol. i stay out of her business. i just wish she could have stayed out of mine...
