I contacted Sam Craver of cagecrafters.com & cagecrafters.homestead.com, in early September of last year. Sam worked up a price for me for 12 PVC racks and extra containers. After further discussions, I decided to place a larger order with him. The revised order consisted of $7000 worth of racks and extra containers, which included Sam delivering them to me. I put down a total of $3700 in deposits, the first one for $1000 and the second one for $2700.
I told Sam at the onset that I needed these no later than April 1, 2006 (7 months), which he indicated would not be a problem. Fast foward to March 24th of this year (6 3/4 months after the order was placed), Sam has made zero attempts to contact me in regards to making this delivery. We did have one delivery scheduled (due to my persistence in contacting him) and he had to cancel it due to a personal family tragedy, which I completely understood.
I have contacted him periodically during this 7 months, to find out when he will make the delivery. He indicated in a recent phone call that he has not received the vast majority of the emails that I sent to him. None of the emails that I sent to both of his email addresses have ever come back as undeliverable. I will continue to email him until they do come back undeliverable.
Here's the last email that I sent to him (Please keep in mind that I made numerous attempts through phone and emails for him to deliver prior to this email):

Sam,
Per our phone conversation yesterday, I did not receive your phone call last night regarding a delivery date. Please call me to discuss as, per our initial conversation, I told you I need these no later than April 1, which is 2 weeks away. I have been extremely patient with you, waiting 7 months for these to be delivered. If I do not receive these by April 1, 2006, I want my money back. 7 months is more than enough time for this transaction to be finalized. You indicated at the onset that you would have no trouble getting these to me by then.
I did send him this email as a last resort to rectify the situation. Again the email did not come back undeliverable. Here it is:

Sam,
I'm very frustrated at your lack of followup with me. Numerous times I have made attempts to get the delivery set up and you have yet to follow up with any phone calls or emails. I told you at the onset I needed these racks by April 1 and you said that wouldn't be a problem. I am to the point where I will post this on the BOI if I don't here from you by this weekend. I honestly don't know the protocol on the BOI, so I am sending this to you as a favor so you can make this right.
I spoke to Sam today (March 24th, 2006) and he has agreed to refund me the $. Here is his email stating such:
