Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Cham Breeding/Selling Q's.
Well my friend has been owning a cham for a while and i am interested in getting a few on my own and maybe trying to breed them. (Veiled)
How old do they have to be to breed?
How long does it usually take from breeding-hatching?
Do you need any certain liscense to sell/breed?
When should i seperate male from female?
Should the female stay with the eggs the whole time?
When the babys hatch what should they eat/how long before they do?
thanks

O k I'll try and go down the list for you.
They say a 1 year old is breeding age but I always waited to 1.5 years old before I bred my veileds.
After the female veiled is fertile and shows that she is gravid with her gravis colors, its takes over a month then when the eggs are laid it takes 8-9 months before they start hatching.
No license to sell
You need to keep an eye on your male because they can be really aggressive towards your female, Once they are done breeding take the male out and put him back in his cage. the female will tell you if she is gravid by showing her gravid colors.
Not really what you mean by "should the female stay with the eggs"? once the eggs are laid they need ot be taken out of the cage and incubated in a incubator.
When the babies hatch they should be feed pin head crickets, mine always ate right away, like a day after hatching.
If you do decide to breed make sure when the babies hatch that you have a mple supply of pin head crickets.
Good Luck

You can go to adcham.com There is a section for breeding. There is also a section that is very good for nursery care from hatchling to juveniles. One of My Mammas was 13 months old when I bred her the other one was 10 months old. My 3rd Mamma was 11 months old. All was sucessful. The main thing is make sure they get lots of dusted crickets with calcium. I also fed them one or 2 pinkie mice once a week because they get calcium from the bones. The girls loved the pinkie mice.
