HELP 1st time SHIPPER!!

ok well im very excited to ship my 1st reptiles but i want to make sure i do it right... ok im shipping a 2-3ft tegu to NY.... what do i do? i already have somebody willing to ship her for me its just the packaging i need help with like boxes newspaper holes? etc etc

mainly do i just put her in the box and go or put her in a bag in a box etc etc i need help!

thanks i watched the vid it was great but he shipped a ball python

what about a tegu? or any other med-large sized lizard?

You will want to tie the end of the bag VERY tightly...that's a big strong lizard with many hours to try and scratch it's way out.You might even get a plastic sterilite container to put the bag in..you can put holes in the plastic if you do....then put a couple of strips of duct tape all the way around the middle of it.I'm just picturing a 3 foot tegu...very strong lizard.

I knot off the end and then double it over and zip tie. It isn't getting out of that unless it rips through the bag (pillow cases work, btw). I guess I should get a picture of what that looks like for that article...
