Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I don't know why I have not until now made myself a profile here....too many places to maintain a presence these days I guess. Anyhow, longtime lurker, first time posting.

The $0.50 intro....

I grew up in northern CA, moved to AZ after college for 3 years and put 100,000 herping miles on my car in that time. Moved to Seattle, WA ~2 years ago and am now sorely missing my lost access to easy herping.

I am a wildlife biologist, currently working on hazard mitigation at an airport, avian radar validation and a smattering of other things.

I am also an occasional lurker/poster on fieldherpforum, kingsnake and pnwhs though not as much in recent years since I am not field herping 3+ days a week.

I will also now shamelessly plug my rosy boa classified posting I also just posted at this time.

Together with my fiance we are "Scales-Etc" though with the birth of our son in Aug the website has fallen a bit into neglect and I need to do more updating and site building.
