    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

i built a rack. 6 slots. 41 qt pans for my boas i have. i bought 6 uth with a johnson contro t stat. i got the one with the bulit in night drop. well the strip has 6 plug holes. one for each uth. well im suppouse to plug one of the black cords into and house appliance timer and im curious where do i plug the timer in. can i just put it in the wall since all my plugs on my t stat strip is full. please let me know. thanks
 
I would assume yes. Since the daytime/nighttime timer is designed to just basically cut the power to the source, or apply power at a certain set time, you can plug it in to the wall and it will cut power/apply to all circuits on the source at the time you have it set at. In my head I am thinking of those automatic timers for like fish tanks or reptile enclosures where you want the lights or heat to turn on at a certain time of the day and shut off at a certain time, so I hope my information helps.
 
if your thermostat truly has a "night drop" feature, then why would you need a timer?

I use timers and dimmers on most of my stuff.
 
Thats kinda what I was thinking. But when timer was mentioned thats when I "assumed" he had one of those plug in the wall socket timers.
