THE TINMAN
I have a interesting question for everybody so sound off........
What would you do if you own snakes already and a ordinance locally let say that restricts the particular breed that you have goes into effect after you already owned the snake.Would you register for a permit, keep the snake anyway, give it up, and be really honest because I think more people than care to admit would straight out keep them anyway.I would like to say this is in no way a personal issue to me but Im fasinated to see if people would be really honest or just give a Bull answer to not look bad.I will be honest I would probably keep them anyway and just try to be a very responsible owner but heck I have always been a Outlaw anyway.Well thats it lets hear the Morally right and the Morally wrong................

I've done both before...guess it depends on the situation, and how workable the permit system is. When large constrictors, and numerous other critters, got the boot in NYS a few years back, I kept my yellow anacondas for a while (initially because I hadn't looked at the correct version of the law, and thought it was only greens - oops). I did end up getting rid of them, but that decision was only partially based on the desire to be compliant with the law (that particular law is ridiculous in it's scope and reach, IMO)
