Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

This is my first year attempting to breed boas. I've read the books and can understand most of the genetics but some times I get a little stuck. Genetics in cornsnakes is so much easier. LOL

I have a pastel female breeding a hypo het albino right now. Should the babies be hypos, pastels, super pastels or what? The pastel is confusing me. :shrug01:

From what I've read and discussed with a long time boa breeder (15+ years) friend of mine...Pastel isn't Mendelian genetic. It's more selectively bred (think Candycane, Reverse Okeetee, etc in Cornsnakes). Ultimately you'll end up with Hypos and Normals possible het Albino...and then some may be Pastel. I have a Hypo male here who my friend thinks is a Hypo Pastel. He was sold to me as just a Hypo, so who knows.
