    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

After numerous delays we are finally ready to offer Fusion Boa Tubs. With dimensions of 28" x 44" x 10" you will have no problems housing larger boas and pythons. These tubs are huge and it is difficult to judge their size by these pics. The tubs are made of ABS with acrylic window inserts for easy viewing of your animals. What's best about these tubs is that they are affordable for the everyday herper. Regular price is $71.50US but we are offering a 10% introductory special of $65.00US for the next 30 days (expiring Decmeber 1). Who thought housing large snakes could be so affordable? For shipping quotes, please send your postal code to [email protected]. Better act fast as the tubs will not last long at this price. Stock is limited.

Note: Fusion boa tubs are based on the Canadian dollar and proces will fluctuate with the exchange rate.

Are these made to fit a certain rack, or intended to be used in conjunction with a homemade rack?

TattooLost:

These tubs are meant to go with the Fusion 400 rack which is a steel powder coated rack that we are manufacturing. Here's a link to one of the ads:

This is obviously a significant investment for many herpers which is why we are offering the tubs individually for collectors to build their own racks around.

Rick:

I don't think that PM came through.

How durable is the lip around the top? would it be sturdy enough to be made into a hanging style rack? Also what are the dimensions of the tubs on the interior base?

The lip is durable enough to support the tub in a hanging style rack. However, due to the size of the tubs when they are fully loaded with the snake, shavings, and water dish it can twist and fall off of the track without any additional support. The Fusion 400 is a hanging style rack and we incorporated some bearings into the design which ensures the tubs will stay in place. I haven't tried any additional designs aside from steel but you could probably get around the problem by using a 1" x 2" strip of wood as a track. The 1" x 2" strip would fit nicely under the lip.

The dimensions of the interior base are approximately 42" x 26".

instead of the acrylic front where you can see your boa are there any made with acrylic on the long ways. i doubt that made sense

Unfortunately we don't offer tubs with the acrylic window on the long side. This would require an additional mold because there is a protrusion on the inside of the tub to house the acylic allowing it to sit flush. I prefer this design as opposed to the window on the long side because it lets you see your snake but still allows for a hide spot near the back of the tub. A large window on the long side would let in a lot of light which, as you know, can stress out your snakes.

I can offer tubs without the acrylic windows. A lot of tortoise breeders seem to be preferring these.
