In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Check This Out!

Very nice anery Harald! Where did you find him? :yesnod:
For those that haven't seen the progressive changes in appearance of a Longicauda here's a great link. Just go to the Boa c. longicauda section in the left hand column. Then scroll down to the pic of the three month old anery longi, then same animal at 2 years, and finally 3 years old. The difference is amazing!

Harald you picked up a sweet animal.

That should look incredible once the jet black fully delevops.

Great pick up!

very nice little longi :D I think you should send him to me in a couple years to play with my female anery ;) hahaha

Harald,I got something you might be interested in ?
Hit me up over at the other place.
She is an 07 directly from Harding(pic 6/09)

Wonder why, all of the sudden, people are trying to sell snakes and set up play dates in a 2 yr old thread...
This guy is set for cooling in a week or so...he's darkened up quite a bit, but his head markings are still about the way they were in the above pics (disappointing as that is - I would have liked that to have turned jet black).
For the time being, he's got a girlfriend. It's an arranged situation, they haven't even met yet; but I'm hoping there is some chemistry in a few months. She's an 04, supposed to be 66% het anery...and I guess it's been too long since I've posted pictures of her. She's in shed now, so I'll post a few updated shots in a week or so - when I move them to their winter quarters. In the meantime, a refresher (or, an introduction, for those that weren't around 2 yrs ago)

Tell you what Harald, if it's what prompted you post these new pics, then I'm all for it .
He's friggin awesome looking! That head pattern is insane!

lol - I didn't post new pics. Those are pics of my female, from a thread I posted in 07.

What was the lineage on that one Harald ?
Crossing some lines of BCL do produce that type of speckled head.
Here is a Metzler cross from Denton

Metzler line.
Here are a few new pics of the male - he's surprisingly irridescent...I guess I just didn't expect that from Boa constrictor ssp.
(They're just quick tub shots, and I didn't bother to break out the good camera...but you'll see what I mean about being disappointed by his head markings)

And, back by popular demand...one of my favorite critters (I've lost count of how many favorites I have :D), my 04 female (poss het anery)

I'd be more then happy to give him a home, even though he has such disappointing head markings :yesnod:

Those are some shinny boas

I've been told that all my boas couldn't be my favorite, so I picked one to not be. She's so bloody evil I might just never breed her.
