In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....
Because if so your claims would be a bit biased because you are employed by these people that these accusations are being made against. I have seen outbacks animals they are really cool no doubt. I have heard good and bad things about them. I will most likly in my quest for rare colubrids ppurchase and animal from outback and because it will most likly be a WC import I would treat with panacur and do a 90 day quarentine period. I like what I see from outback usually.

I have been watching this thread for a while and have to say. I have never dealt with outback. And never will but I do see them at my local show. Mark I have a question for you...do you have manners. This kid Ralpe comes with an honest question and you bash him right off the bat. That seems very unfair. Think about it.

Your waivering on the import issue aside, what happened in the past 5 days that changed your mind about dealing with Outback??

Sorry, I never got back to this thread. Just wanted to apologize again for my uncalled for actions. From what I can see the snake is back in good health after visiting another vet and spending another $250+ to find out he had Pseudomonas and Klebsiella. I was given two different types of meds for the snake and they seemed to have cleared everything up. He has one of the best feeding responses out of any of my snakes now. I am definitely happy with my purchase as of now. Sorry Mike and Ian, I just want to get back into reptiles on the right track. No more raging.

Everything was fine with the snake for a few months after the first vet visit. Then the snake started showing signs of being sick again. I think I have the second vet's bill. Might have the report as well.

bills are nice but i would rather see the vet report since i am considering doing business with Ian if you can not give me proof. i am not picking a side i just want to make sure that a possible animal i find for my daughter will be healhy first and foremost, and my daughter is happy with the animal she will be purchasing with her own hard earned money. i hope you understand.

I'm not going to be rude anymore. I'm over this. I found the summary and test results from the first vet. Will post asap. I don't know if my scanner works. Will take pics of them if scanner does not work.

I'm sure he's up to par on his snakes' health. I just picked a bad apple I guess. He deals with many snakes, wholesale and whatever he hatches etc. Most likely you will get a nice snake as long as you take the time to look over it thoroughly and nothing seems wrong with it.

I will be doing the transaction over the net, so i can not inspect the animal first hand. Please... You have made aligations so all i ask for is proof, and you are not showing it, and keep back peddling. I understand the broken scanner comment Sir, but I just ask for the vet report that you said you would post. I am not calling you a lier, just want what you said you would do. Thank you for taking time to read all these, Betty.

There really is nothing to read. I jsut read the first 5 pgs and then came to the end. I was looking at several of Ian's group deal on KS but not now. I love how all these BIG TIME HERP guys are also full time TUFF GUYS. LOL give me a break. If that was a man and not a kid Ian wouldn't have been a big tuff guy running his mouth. He feels his name and rep can get thru all. You are only as good as your last sale. Cussing out to teens and having your slackies talk smack about his mother phoning you. what a JOKE :shootfoot

oops, didn't see the first page...
It says fecal: flagellates, nematodes Sent to lab r/o crypto
treated with Flagyl

yeah, that was the first vet. he seemed like he knew what he was doing, but i guess it didn't eliminate everything the snake had. i just got a bad snake out of the bunch. it was probably bought wholesale for cheap and not overlooked thoroughly before outback sold it to me. oh well. i do like a lot of their snakes they have though. one in a million chance of happening? i don't know.

the first page is of what my vet saw. the second page is what was sen out to their lab, and i got it back later with those results. he gave me a med the snake would take orally. it helped him after a week or so to get back onto feeding. then a few months later, my snake started acting sick again with the same runny stool and drooling.

i brought the snake to a different vet close by and he swabbed the snake's mouth and sent it out to their lab. he called me back a few days later telling me the snake had klebsiella and pseudomonas. i was given ceftazdime and amikacin to treat the snake via injections.

the snake is fine as of now. he has been pounding large mice every feeding day up until his last feeding, which was today (probably was still full from last week)

I don't know if I'm just missing something here or what, but all the back pedaling and "ah it's not their fault, just bad luck, etc. etc." just seems really really odd to me.

The damage is done and nothing is going to be done about it now. It's fine with me. Old news. Over $400 later in vet bills to get this snake better. I just hope it doesn't happen again buying another new snake.
