My personal best and caught on a live eel. It's very fat and had quite a number of bite marks from other catfish!
The length was 215 cm (6.55 ft) and the weight was 85 kg (187.4 lbs). The photo was taken by Yuri Grisendi who helped me also to weight the fish.

No problem thanks...Couldn't get the pic to load up. Icthyology(branch of science that studies fish) and Herpetology are closely related studies. I bet they(CRE) didn't think anyone would catch onto that one either?

They could at least take the time to learn about the inheritance of the “ivory” gene, which as far as I know is recessive. On the other hand, who that owns a genetic hetero ivory female would breed it to a “normal” male? Yes, the girl has everything...except the "ivory" genes. Sigh…

If they need yellow bellies and don't have a breedable male and they don't want to add another gene to the YB mix, thats what they should have done. Ivory is the homo YB, YBs are the visible "hets" I belive that makes it co-dominant.
