Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

I'm not going to get into an argument over symantics with you. Or go down the, "what about this guy? well how about this one? road and so forth. This thread is about you. Information about you was requested, I provided information that I had.
Just because you might have had email contact with someone three years ago doesn't mean you can willy nilly shotgun advertise every single one of them and not expect some flak for it. There just might be a few of us that deal with enough of that kind of crap on a daily basis and will speak up about it. And keep in mind, once you press the send button, your email is no longer private.

To whom it may concern...
I get what I call Spam email from the "German Ball breeders, resellers" on a weekly basis. It is getting tiresome, and eventually when I am in a lousy mood, I might actually go to their site and try to be taken off their email list. I call what they do spam, because it is a continuous action, and they do not know me from Adam. I think those of you who are peeved at Joe are those who get repeated spam from different breeders/businesses, and now are just mad at any unsolicited email. If Joe sends me "pricelists" on a weekly basis, I will probably tell him to knock that @#$% off. If anyone I even vaguely know sends me an "ad", I honestly have no problem with it until it comes in on a weekly basis.

I sincerely apologize if I have created a disturbance for you, as I mentioned in the PM. I had no intentions of becoming an annoyance and I surely had no intentions of losing a possible potential future customer like yourself. I deeply regret sending the email at this point, if there's anything I can do to right this wrong, I will conform the best I can.

I have had only two intentions all along when posting to this thread. One was to provide information for the original inquiry. And two, after you posted here, was to provide some insight for you into what other's perceptions of such emails maybe. I feel no ill will towards you and sincerly wish you luck in your business endeavors.

I guess this is a moot point, but I just wanted to clarify that your statment of "never doing business" with me was untrue. Here are screen shots of the paypal transaction. After figuring out which email address was yours, the transaction popped into my head.

I apologize for that, we have done business together. But, that means you should be on MY mailing list....
As for the power strip, you should have contacted me, I offer a one year warranty on all of my thermostats and I would have gladly replaced that strip at no cost to you.

Dennis,
No harm, no foul. I gladly accept your insight on the situation. As for the power strip, it wasn't worth bothering you about it, I've got dozens laying around and I'm a handy guy so it was a quick fix.
