Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

when a seller states that you can pay on the day of shipping at an agreed upon price and then tries to jack up the price, that's not so honest nor ethical. when a seller doesn't ask for a deposit but gives his agreement to the sale, that should be enough.

I understand what you are saying, but you are not coming to the table with clean hands, it appears you were ordering turtles that were not legal for you to possess in your state.

When a buyer wants something he should put a dep. on said merchandise. When a buyer says they will pay for said merchandise, should the seller remove the ad, that's not ethical. If a seller bases all conversations on what the potential buyer says, the seller will pull his hair out wondering why all these potential buyers are lying to him. The buyers ad says"make offer", if potential buyer #2 offers another price, and the seller doesn't let potential buyer #1 know of said possible transaction, then that's not ethical. If potential buyer installs a dep. on said merchandise, it's theirs, plain and simple....The seller didn't jack up the price, buyer #2 made an offer and paid for said merchandise in full and received all three items in good condition today and everyone is happy, Paul

I guess it just depends on if you accept the first offer. But the way I'm understanding it sounds like a auction.

I agree completely. Would it be that hard to say "in order to hold it for you I need a deposit"? The seller instead said

I've accepted thousands of offers but only hundreds of sales, I'm still getting pm's, as of @ 3mins. ago, asking is a particular reptile still available, and those would be buyers have my paypal info and still no email from paypal saying "so and so" sent you some money, so what are you supposed to do, sit and lose sales, not....PUT A DEPOSIT ON WHAT YOU WANT OR LOSE WHAT YOU WANT!
