Thanks for the luck everyone. I've actually been anticipating this particular breeding since '06, so I sure am hoping things go well. Even if I quit breeding everything else, I think I'd still strive for this project, and the "next level" of Fire Belly's.

Thanks again!

Well, after I removed the rat she refused, she went back to the heat and has been pretty much like this since.

Notice how flat her dorsal is, until you get to a certain area about just in the right spot? Not very much, but she last ate on Jan 16 and gave me a full turd on Jan 25 with a couple small urates following.

Maybe it ain't over yet after all. I'll leave them be while I'm in Cali this next week, and see what we see when I return. He's still a little low, but at least this time he's got a full wrap around. LOL

I think she reabsorbed. She swelled up a little, out of sequence with a meal. Next thing I know, she looked normal, started eating, and even tagged the hell out of me. Back to her old self now.

I'll start putting the male back in just a few days though. Attempt number two.

:-( Silver lining: at least it got her calmed down enough for some good picts! Still, sorry to hear that, Rick.
