As a heads up, if you ask your customers to cover your Paypal fees, you are breaking Paypal's Terms of Service.

4.6 No Surcharges. You agree that you will not impose a surcharge or any other fee for accepting PayPal as a payment method.

Essentially you are supposed to factor possible Paypal fees into your base prices. Charging more for Paypal transactions and telling customers to pay extra essentially has the potential for scaring people away from using Paypal, which Paypal, of course, doesn't want, and if they catch wind of it, there might be repercussions for your account.

Either way, the back and forth is a little confusing - if someone could post a receipt showing whether the payment was sent as a gift or not, that could clear some of it up?

I am not able to do that. I believe you would need to contact the admin (Webslave) if you wish to 'cancel' your subscription (I assume you mean your contributing status?). If you mean the subscription to this thread, you are able to edit the subscription so you don't get notices of replies. If you mean coming on the website at all, you can choose to not log on. If you have any other questions about that please use the "Fauna Feedback Forum" or contact me via PM as this is going off topic.

I suggest that you regain control before you resume posting. Off topic rants have no place on the BOI, and this is not the place to carry on about your infraction(s). If you want to post in this thread, stick to the topic. Continue in the manner of your last few posts, and I'll simply remove you...then you can blame me for your prices going up (fair warning, though - if I see that in an ad on this site, I'll delete it)

As far as the PayPal thing - charging the fee is, as previously posted, a violation of your User Agreement. It seems like a lot of people think that is a big joke...IMO, there are definite situations which merit turning in the seller.
Sending payments as personal/gift is a foolish move for a consumer, because it removes all buyer protections...by selecting that option, one is stating that there is no purchase; the payer is GIVING money to the recipient, you can't file a claim with PayPal, etc. If anything goes wrong, you're screwed; so why would anybody do it?
