Thank you for another update! Keep your chin up. Hugs and prayers for the kids!

Faith is of a bluebird that you see from afar. You can't buy it, sell it or wrap it up tight but it's there just the same making things turn out right.

Have faith!

Maggie, I'm not sure where in PA you're located, but I bet we could help you find some people around here who'd be willing to help you guys out with the mundane while you go take care of the important stuff. Cooking, animal care, etc. Hang in there!

I just got back from the hospital. He is still hanging in there. They are going to try to change the ventilator settings so that they can try to get the cat scan done tomorrow. He had dialysis today and it went well and he held his blood pressure and heart rate. He is running a fever but they said it's nothing to be concerned about and they take it as a good sign that his body is able to even generate one. He seemed calmer tonight with his breathing which was nice to see. I always worry that he is in pain but they said they have him morphine (sp?) just to be sure that he isn't. They said they can tell when his heart rate increases and he seems in distress. He did open and close his eyes and I'm hopeful that it isn't just a reflex, but even if it is, I still take that as a good sign. I will be going up in the morning and will let you know if they are able to do the cat scan and if anything changes. Thanks again everyone and I hope all of you and your families are doing well.

Thank you so much for taking the time to keep us posted Maggie. With the amount of stress you and your family have, and the kids alone, even when NOT sick, and this entire situation.. I can't thank you enough for letting us know.

I am very glad to hear that he seems fairly stable today!!! Lets keep on with the positive updates!!!!
