Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

This is my first year breeding ball pythons and I am shooting for 3 clutches. One could end up being epic though. I will also be hatching out anywhere from 60- 120 African fat tails and leopard geckos. Between the breeding, a new puppy and 2 young children, my plate is more than full. I work as a mixologist (that's a fancy word for bartender, lol) during the week for money to fund my addictions. good luck everyone!

What a fun idea, I've enjoyed reading everyone's posts.
I'm hoping for 9 Ball Python clutches, all 9 girls have been having good locks since October. Also 1 clutch of Milks and 3 clutches of Corns.
I don't have as exciting a job as some of you. I spend my days in a Cubicle doing customer service type work.
I'm definitely a hobby breeder. I'm happy just to make enough to pay for my mice, rats, electric, new racks, and new snakes...

I am hoping for at least 10 clutches out of the 14 females we are breeding. This is our third year breeding and we are just hobbiest's looking to increase our own collection with the morphs we breed. I breed mostly het to hets for that reason, every clutch is like Christmas early! As you can see in my stats I am a full time ordained Minister and as you know we only work one day a week so I have plenty of time! Actually my only day off (Friday) is invested with cleaning and cleaning some more as I also raise my own rats and mice. Due to time constraints I do not think I will ever get above the number we are now breeding I am truly hoping I already did not get in to deep but 10 to 14 clutches should be very do-able. . I think. . I hope!

This will be my first year breeding and I am hoping for 4 clutches. I worked as a national sales rep for the past 3 years and saved up to go back to school, so currently I am going to school full time. This is just a hobby which I hope to be able to do the rest of my life. Great idea on the thread.

We were planning on breeding 42 females this season, and again holding back the majority of females, and several males that we produce.
However, I may decide not to breed any of our Normal females, and reduce the number of females that we are breeding in half.
We may give a few of our males the year off as well, and only breed multiple gene males to single and multiple gene females.

I consider myself a hobbyist but I'm afraid this will change in a few years...
Third season breeding and I'm planning on 5 to 7 clutches. That's if my females dont absorb their follicles when I move at the end of the month.
Best of luck with your projects everyone.

3-6.
but spread out. which naturally means, i think i am going to get 3 close to the same time.... and i only started pairing 3 females- so so much for being spread out...lol.
i have 1 more girl that i plan on breeding later in the season, and 1 more that may go if eats good and gets up to good weight. I did pair up an extra normal( well, she is a possible blurry to get technical) but i havent seen any locks, but i am not really gonna push breeding her since i already bred a normal girl. trying to keep more to morph to morph and keep some doubles, tho did this last season and got no luck....lol.

First of all, a BIG congrats to both new Dads!! I became a Grandpa in March 2010, but I still remember, with great detail, my first child's birth! And Preacher, that's funny stuff about working only ONE day a week. My dad was a Minister, and I barely saw him, as he was always working!
I'm a hobbyist, and this year I'm only breeding about 10 females so I'll be happy with at least 6 clutches. My original plans were for double that, but I sold all of my normals (except for my original female, and she'll stay here forever), and I decided to let a few girls wait for another season. I'm also breeding 2 pairs of bearded dragons (1 pair gave me 5 clutches last year; other pair are both virgins), and 1 or 2 pairs of boas.
I own Active Delivery Speicialists in Kennesaw, GA. We're a small courier company that I started back in March '04. I also build custom cabinetry, and rebuild/refinish old antique pieces, on the side.

It's so cool to see what a diverse bunch we are!
This is our second season breeding, and we're shooting for 17 clutches. Wow. Didn't realize it was that many until this thread! Of those, I'm almost positive that at least 2 are pretty close to laying and I can't WAIT!!! We still have a lot of proving out possible hets going on over here.
The hubby is active duty military, and I am a legal transcriptionist who's lucky enough to work from home. (Gotta love going to work in sweatpants!) We also homeschool our 2 kids, who are 11 and 12. That IS considered a full time job, right?
So congratulations to the almost daddies...and if you think you're going to have time to rest...think again.
