For anyone still paying attention: All the babies made their way out today. Got some odd babies for the pairing.

Recap: Bee X Normal- 6 Eggs. 2 didn't make it. (A Bee and a normal died in the egg)
I was left with these four normals. Neither mom nor dad is anything close to a blackback but these babies are close.

I need to take some more pics once they shed because they 2 of the four are very blackback looking, one is really close and the last one (The blind baby) has the least amount of black.

Thoughts?

Thanks again Dustin I was hoping you would at lease get a chance to see the babies. They are all amazing...normals lol. I love black back stuff though and after checking them out further and talking to the man who produced my BumbleBee, it seem's as though it is genetic BB

They (all of them) also have some cool dots down their dorsal's and all have "hooked" eye lines. Pretty much clear bellies on all the babies. It looks like I got 0.4 so that would finally be a small break. I can't be forsure as one baby had some umbilicus sticking out so I didn't mess with it to much to sex it. Either way, my racks just got a few long term blackback guests

Thats awesome Amanda, always nice to at least hit on females! And you got good news with the male bee being genetic BB. Some cool holdbacks for sure.
